Here is one of my favorite Basses made by Rob Elrick. This is the New Jazz Standard Model with beautiful Quilted Maple top over a lightweight Swamp Ash Body and a Rosewood 21 fret fingerboard over a quartersawn maple neck. This is a Funk and Slap Machine!! Bartolini Electronics with three band eq and a three way mid range switch guarantee any sound you need from this spectacular bass. It also has an active/passive switch to bypass the pre amp section should you so choose. The NJS is equipped with a 35 inch scale neck that is joined to the body with six allen head bolts and a Walnut tone block in between the sandwich. This bass simply plays and sounds great like all the Elrick's do. I have owned a few of these and have had the pleasure of playing many live gigs with one of these as my main Bass. They never fail to cover any situation musically and you could not ask for a better partner. This Particular NJS is one of the early vintage Elrick's and it is in excellent condition. SOLD!! To Mr. Funk Himself! Glen Olds from The Motor City, Detroit.
