"Le Clair" JAZZ BASS WITH ONE PIECE ASH BODY AND OLD SCHOOL FEEL
Great Bass from Tampa Luthier
This info is from the Man who built this Bass and are his own words!! My basses are built by hand one at a time. They are real instruments each one unique, made by a person, not a machine. I select the best woods I can find, then the parts are carefully made and fitted together. Neck edges are rolled for a broken in, comfy feel. Pickups are hand wound to match the guitar and obtain the optimum sound out of that particular instrument. Finish is 100% Nitro to let the wood breathe as it should. My instruments are are very resonant and have a lot of sustain....... JB Series Three –color Sunburst....... Weight: 9 lbs....... Body is lightweight 1-piece, cathedral grain swamp ash....... Black pickguard....... 7 1/4 inch radius hard maple neck w/ two way truss rod and Indian Rosewood fingerboard....... Frets are 6105 nickel silver....... Pearloid block inlays....... Contour is C contour measuring .8125” at first fret and .875” at 12th fret....... Traditional 70s style bridge....... Vintage Reverse tuners....... American pots and jack with vintage style cloth wire....... NOS American paper in oil caps....... Pickups are hand made and hand wound to vintage specs This particular set uses Alnico 4 magnets which I feel give them a less harsh “woodier” sound than the traditional Alnico 5.......
