This is a set neck design with a highly figured "Kingswood" fretboard. This neck is a 35" inch scale neck that makes this a very articulate and fabulous sounding 4 string bass. Most of you know that the longer scale 35' and 36" inch scale necks offer more string tension and a fuller sound than shorter scale basses.
